Yellow Rattle Seeds
**2026 Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus minor) seeds now available to pre-order. To be dispatched following harvest, by late August/early September.**
This is an annual species which controls grass, enabling wildflowers to thrive. Yellow rattle is known as the 'Meadow Maker' as it supports the creation of species-rich wildflower meadows from existing grassland.
Please note: It is highly recommended to sow Yellow Rattle in Autumn/early Winter as the seeds need exposure to low temperatures to germinate.
These seeds are:
- Perfect for pollinators including bees
- Grown organically with no pesticides or herbicides.
- Harvested from the Forest of Flowers site in Huby, North Yorkshire.
