Our wildflower honey is made by our own bees as they forage across 100 acres of meadows and woodland here at the Forest of Flowers in Huby, York.
The bees gather nectar from a huge variety of native plants, giving this honey a smooth, well-rounded flavour.
Perfect for spreading on toast, sweetening tea, or enjoying straight from the jar. This is honey as it should be – pure, natural, and unblended. It might taste even sweeter, knowing that all proceeds help fund our conservation work, creating a haven for wildlife in North Yorkshire.
Honey Subscriptions
Do you get through a lot of honey? Sign up to a subscription and we'll deliver a fresh jar to your door every month or two, without you having to do anything. To sweeten the deal, we'll offer a discount on each jar too.
All honey sales and subscriptions are subject to availability. If at any point we run low, we will notify you and cancel your subscription to ensure no payments are taken. You can also cancel your subscription at any time.
About Forest of Flowers
The Forest of Flowers project has created 100 acres of new woodland and wildflower meadows, with the sole aim to provide a thriving natural sanctuary for wildlife.
The land, previously a mixed arable and sheep farm, was re-purposed in 2016 when over 42,000 trees and shrubs were planted, alongside 35+ native wildflower species. This is part of a vision to create a thriving ecosystem to benefit pollinators, birds and a diverse range of native wildlife.
The project also supports:
UK wildflower population, providing seeds to other sites nationwide.
Carbon capture to reduce the effects of climate change.
Prevention of flooding in the local area.
Further Information
If your honey sets: This is perfectly natural and a sign of pure honey. To make it runny again, simply stand the jar in a bowl of hot water until it softens.
Best Before date: Our labels give a best before date of one year from production, however this is only relating to quality and not safety.
Northern Ireland: Please note we are unable to ship honey to Northern Ireland.
