About the event
The Forest of Flowers is a fantastic place to immerse yourself in nature, with an incredible array of native flora and fauna to witness and learn about.
We host a wide range of public and private events at the Forest of Flowers throughout the year, such as:
- Guided Tours
- Wildflower Identification
- Bird Walks
- Twilight Nature Walks
- Tree Identification
- Dawn Chorus (May/June)
- Wildflower Seed Collecting (Late July - October)
- Butterfly Identification (April - September)
We offer expert-led sessions which can be customised for your team or for family/friends. We'll work with you to design the perfect schedule for the session, incorporating a range of topics based on your group's interests. We're also open to new event ideas, so please get in touch if there's something different you'd like to focus on at your visit to the Forest of Flowers.
Our events are always informal, friendly and nature-focussed. They take place outdoors, with seating in our orchard and temporary shelter (such as a gazebo) provided. We usually serve hot and cold refreshments, as well as a range of homemade cakes, and can cater for a range of dietary requirements.
By visiting and supporting our project, you'll be helping to fund the important conservation work we undertake to maximise biodiversity and provide a thriving habitat for nature.
If you're interested in planning a session at the Forest of Flowers, simply click 'RSVP' below and fill in our quick form. We'll then get in touch to discuss your event.
Visitor Comments from Previous Events
"Thank you for a most enjoyable, relaxing, varied and informative event. It was a very special, unique and memorable afternoon. The structure was excellent as it was so varied and the activities linked together so well. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and the setting under the gazebo in the orchard was absolutely perfect... and your friendly cat was an added bonus!"
"From our perspective it was just the right balance, giving people a chance to learn, share their stories, mix with others, ask questions. As always, your knowledge and enthusiasm shone through and I’m sure everyone found the afternoon useful and interesting."
