About the event

Join our Autumn Tree Walk to experience the wonderful sights and sounds here at the Forest of Flowers. With 30 species of native tree and shrub on-site, our diverse woodland has stunning autumnal colour with plenty to see.

Alwyn Craven, Kew-accredited horticulturalist and Forest of Flowers Founder, will lead the walk with regular stops to discuss individual tree and shrub species on show, identification tips and other useful information.

As well as autumnal leaves, we'll see a wide range of berries from shrub species like Spindle, Blackthorn, and Guelder Rose, which all support a huge swathe of birdlife over winter.

Refreshments and homemade cakes will be served after the walk at no extra cost.

Our walk will be approximately 2 miles through flat but uneven terrain - we recommend sturdy/waterproof footwear such as walking boots or wellies.
